There was a flash game years ago on the internet. I believe the domain was www.spacepirates.com Does anyone know if this still exists somewhere? The game consisted of you being the captain of a ship. You earned money by going on "missions" some legal and others illegal. You would go from planet to planet earning money. There was a lounge, a market, and land where you could mine or pillage. You could sell your items at the market, meet new crew members at the lounge. Every time you left a planet that you earned money on, the IRS guy would pop up and you could either pay your taxes or escape without paying. Eventually other ships could "attack" you randomly or because you were doing something illegal. You can also upgrade your ship and armor.
I discovered a game similar called starpirates.com I am not sure if that is an updated version of this game, but I like the old one better. So again, if anyone knows where to find this game and what happened to it, that would be great.
