Does the Headline "GOP seizes House; Democrats keep Senate" appear to be without bias?

This was the headline on NPR. I like NPR, but I think they really lost a lot of clout when they said this. Also, just days after firing Juan Williams. I am not impressed with NPR.

Why can't the title be: America hands the keys to the house over to the GOP; but not willing to do the same with the Senate

Or - America fires Pelosi, but keeps Reid.

Why is that the election is all about the GOP doing this? Didn't America choose it?
So "seize" isn't an inflamatory word? If you sell me your house fair and square, should I be upset if you tell everyone that I "seized" your house?
