We made an experiment and we have this different objects that we hanged (glue stick,chopstick,nail,test tube) on the ceiling inside the classroom. we rubbed each material (glue,chopstick,nail,test tube) and prepared them near the hanged objects. We are expecting the result which either the hanged material will repel or attract, but after preparing the rubbed objects near the material nothing happened... So does the environment has something to do with the result?
does the environment influence the electromagnetic interaction between two objects?
