fearful? The belief that judgment awaits people in the afterlife combined with the knowledge of ones own mortality, are probably the main reasons behind people believing in religious nonsense that is completely without evidence, right? And a funeral is the perfect opportunity for a religious organization to remind its flock of their own mortality and to reinforce the dogma with which they’ve been brainwashed since childhood, right?
