does the blackberry curve 8520 for t-mobile have internet everywhere?

i have t-mobile and i am about to get a blackberry. i really want the new blackberry curve 8520, but it says that it has wifi. does that mean i only get internet on the phone when connected to a wireless network?
 
its like any computer or wifi connection.. you only get it when you are within a wireless connection radius. you can also add web browser features to your phone, it costs 14.99 a month through us and its unlimited. so wherever you get service, you get internet connection
