Brooklyn moves to a different State during her junior year. At her new school, although not immediately, but eventually, like many others girls in the school, falls for Dean, who appears to be the perfect guy. Dean also was fairly new to the school. Even though Brooklyn is in love with him, she suspects that he's hiding something, because he cannot be that perfect. He is too perfect. She also found it strange that nobody knew anything about his past before he moved there. One day, while Dean is away from home, she snoops around Dean's house, and learns of his dark history. Around age 9, he witnessed his 15 year old brother, who was a psychopath, killing their parents, and then escaping. After witnessing this event, Dean, himself, turned into a psychopath (although to a much lesser degree than his brother). Dean shrouds himself with a fake persona to blend into the world. Then the story continues, with the plot revolving around a teenage girl in love with a sociopath.
I didn't want to write anything more about the plot just in case I write and publish this novel. I plan reveal the plot I just wrote about in the in the first 1/3 of the book, with many more surprises planned. I plan to write from Brooklyn's point of view, although I may divide the book up into 3 parts. The second part being from Dean's point of view.
Please leave constructive criticism and share this question so I can have more answers.
Thank you so much!
