Marines? I was watching a clip from the Iraq Vet. Against the War's channel on YouTube, and there was this guy, who was in the Marines, and he was explaining some of his more bitter experiences in the Marines. One of which included how a fellow recruit that he knew was bullied in the barracks by some of the other recruits. He told his superiors but they didnt do anything about it and, in fact, punished him for it. In a nutshell, he got tired of it, so he decided to smoke weed, demonstrate it to his superiors in an attempt to be relieved.
Somehow, when the test results came back, they were negative and he was then deployed to Iraq and was killed by mortar fire.
Another incident was when a gunship passed over a convoy and fired hellfire missiles into a tank(although no one go killed).
If you still dont know where Im trying to get at,how often do mishaps,or controversial incidents/corruption,occur in the Army than in the Marines(or any other branch)?
The reason why I say Army is because most of the veterans against military corruption and protesting the war were either in the Army or in the Army Reserve(plus, you cant forget about the Army's history of incidents. i.e:My Lai Massacre).
