Does the AirPort Extreme Base Station need a cable modem? Can't I just plug in an Ethernet cable into the modem slot? Does it make a difference? What does a cable modem do? I'm looking for a good wireless router for my two story house. We have an Xbox 360, Wii, iPad, iPod Touches, Laptop, and desktop computers. I would need it to be able to connect to all of those.
