Toyota has indicated that a safety brake over-ride system, to prevent over-accelerations, has been installed in SOME of its models, but not all until 2012---Question...Does anyone know for sure if the 2011 Toyota Highlander has this in it, or will it come in 2012? This will be the deciding factor on my purchase. Thanks!
Thanks Shrelkn....I suspected as much that toyota is hiding the fix or refusing to reveal to the public what is being done in terms of the over-ride system...effective today...I wil boycot Toyota. The Ford Edge, and the Chevy Equinox, and the Subaru are by far the most reliable vehicles, and there is no subversion on those companies part.
