does telogen effluvium and mild alopecia areata affect the hairline aswell?

i was diagnosed with telogen effluvium and mild alopecia areata. I am a male, 17 years old

I am losing hair everywhere, the back of my head, the sides, the top, and the hairline too.

Does telogen effluvium also affect the hairline, the right side of my hairline has recedded back maybe 1-2cm in a couple of months, and i have lost a lot of hair on the back of my head, the sides, and the top, there's no pattern :/
