Does Symbicort effect your menstrual cycles?

I was recently diagnosed with adult-onset asthma and was started on Syrabicort in early Septeraber (2 puRAB twice a day). I have always had normal perioRAB...very regular, every 24-25 days. After starting Syrabicort I had an almost two-week-long period in the middle of October and now I am skipping my period, which is a first for me (I'm 42). Can this be related to the steriod in the Syrabicort? Anyone else have this issue?
 
Thanks for your response. I'm probably in denial that I'm getting old enough for that stuff to begin....drat.
 
Oh honey! You should be glad! The dreaded monthly visitor may be going away. I sure don't miss that!
