I've never heard this before, but when my boyfriend cooks steak he tells me to hurry up and eat it or it will get hard to chew.
Maybe I've never heard it before because of the different places? I live in Canada and I'm touring around Japan (He lives here).
Maybe it's the type of beef? It definitely looks different than Canadian steaks. And it's really thin.
Or is it the way that he is cooking it? (Over high heat on a gas stove for a short period of time)
Or have I just been informed wrong all my life and I actually should be eating steak as fast as possible to make sure I eat it when it's tender?
