Does sprinting flat out for 30 seconds burn calories?

If I were to walk a length of a soccer field, jog the length of a soccerfield and then sprint a length... And continued doing this 6 times every morning, would I lose weight? Aswell as eating 1200 calories a day and walking a dog for 30 minutes in the arvo, would I lose 10 kilos in a month? Or near that?
