Does sports help get into colleges like Michigan University?

Im a Sophomore in High School and a just finished my freshmen year. I finished it with a 3.12 gpa..Im a great singer and i played quarterback. Plus im am an armature Hockey player and an excellent bowler. I know i have 3 more years but at this rate, can i go to a college like Michigan?
 
it's way to early to tell whether or not you will be able to get into any college or range of colleges.
as far as the sports go, any extracurricular you have, not just sports, is helpful when you're applying for college. pick a variety of different activities you enjoy and stick with them throughout high school and try and attain leadership positions (captain, officer, whatever.) The only way sports really have any significant weight over other extracurriculars is if you want to get a scholarship.
