Ok, so this is a follow up question to http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmDWvCnLG6wx3bY59LAHs4zty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110303132023AAVKYb1
so read that first before answering.
Anyways, I met her at the dance tonight, said hi (gave big happy waves and she seemed really happy to see me), but then didn't continue much conversation from there because of the crowded and noisy environment there. I attempted to talk to her again but it was just too damn noisy and she was with her friends at the time. I went out to the hall for some fresh air when she and her two friends were also there. When they walked past me, I was too nervous to start conversation again. My friend than ran up to her and told her that I like her and that I'm too nervous to ask her to dance (in front of her friends too). When the slow dance came on, I tapped her shoulder and asked her to dance with me but she said that she could not hear me because it was too loud in there.
Later that night, after I finished my sulking, she replied to some questions that my friend asked her on Formspring about the night. Apparantly she said that she could tell that I was very nervous and that the two of us should hang out more often.
Also, here is a Facebook private message that I sent her:
Hey ******* I'm sooooooo SORRY about tonight. Forgive me for being such a jerk. The reason that I didn't really talk to you was because I was so nervous. I hope you understand and I hope that things will not change for the worse - Me
Do you think that she will forgive me and allow this friendship to continue (or even evolve into something else one day)? Also, I once promised her that I'd talk to her one day after school but then I chickened out of it, and after a brief apology she also forgave me and she said that she understands why.
Thank you.
BTW, should I delete the message I sent her?
