...her photography? I have been suggested to look at Sarah Moon for decaying backdrops such as rubble etc but i cannot find any examples of her work using this style. I have looked at Francesca Woodman but she is not a fashion photographer and I am concentrating on the fashion genre. thanks
 
sarah moon crates her effects by seriously pushing film... she shoots 100asa at 1600asa and devs accordingly. (its an example)

sebastian salgardo also uses deacying backdrops, as does don mccullin... whilst McCullen isnt a fashinista, salgardo is...his early work was for skin2... its stunning.

and its a common technique, the gorgeous young things look even more gorgeous with the juxtaposition of beauty and decay. like photographing a ferrari in a scrap yard
