does Samsung instinct have wireless?

ive heard theres a differnece between wifi and wirelss but i just still cant get the difference
i just want to know if i have a wireless router, cant i get the signal to my phone from it?

Do you know which specific Samsung Instinct you have? At least the Samsung Instinct S30 does NOT have wi-fi.

Anyway...

Wireless is a catch-all term that means anything that's wireless.

Wi-fi is a specific type of wireless (so is 3G, bluetooth, 4G, CDMA, etc - these are all different wireless systems used for different things on phones).

But... if you have a wireless router at home, it is wi-Fi.
