James E. writes <<Chernobyl after all was passed by peer review while later examination through scientific method showed the basic problems that caused the failure.>>
Me <<He can't possibly think for example that he Communist government in the Soviet Union published design plans for their nuclear facilities in scientific journals. Did they also publish their secrets for making hydrogen bombs?>>
starbuck <<As for Russia, if you ? have never been there or done business with them, you probably would know that your observations are completely without merit. Much of the 20th century advances in science came out of Russia and their engineering is elevated, not as good as the Americans who had more money, but certainly they were not dumb.>>
It was not me that said the Soviet Union was dumb. James E. claimed that Chernobyl was "peer reviewed". you deniers don't really have a clue what "peer review" means, but you "know" it is bad because all the Denier claims fail peer review, and I was pointing out that james E was wring in thinking the Soviets submitted their nuclear secrets to scientific journals. They generally tried to keep their secrets secret.
