Does Rogers know?

Seriously now, does Rogers know how expensive and out of touch their Data plans are?

What do we need to do? picket outside their corporate office!!!

I do have an idea why they are so high - because their main audience is the corporate executive who, as we all know, just expenses their bill. My company and every other organization out there now supports/allows their management team to expense their blackberry bill (business necessity). Rogers knows this and they are making TONS of cash from corporate. They don't care about us "little people"

my $0.02 (my bank balance after signing up with Rogers)

The main reason why the cell phone prices in Canada are so high in Canada it's because the landline phone company and cell phone company in Canada are the same and like you know they make more money with landline and home internet so they don't want to make cell phone take control over landline

My 2 cents

Ill bite..how much does rogers charge? I'm always ticked about what sprint charges for my unlimited data, compared to tmobile for instance.

Wow!gulp! I pay $40 a month for unlimited data plan plus additional $65 for for family plan. I wonder how I find out how many kb a month I use now I'm curious. BB are not a poor mans phone service I guess, but after u pay for your BB useage u ARE a poor man/woman ha

I don't know man, basic BB plan is 45$ with 0,5mb BW +150min voice and bell is the same. I know that americans got better DATA plans than us but in Canada all carriers got the same pricing imo. But Bell & telus = CDMA crap.

Yeah for an heavy user like me which uses near 200-250 mb a month ( use tether a lot ) it's about 100 bucks a month less the talk plan which is about 50 bucks more a month

So I must say bb in Canada are not really a customer thing more for professional

I've wrote a letter to Rogers asking for prices to be brought online with USA market prices. They said no. But shortly after that they added the double data for $5 bucks. They need BES and BIS accounts and data priced with that.
I think this is why we see sites about Rogers sucking!
Send them an email asking for some changes. Post that letter here in the Rogers forum. Them post every reply you get from them about the cost for consumers for a BlackBerry device with Rogers.

and then they list:
Included with BlackBerry Plans: Voice calls are $1.00 per minute (if a voice plan is not subscribed to separately).

And TMobile customers cry about $0.40min overage..
