Does Roger Daltrey use a special microphone?

I'm just wondering, because it seems like a regular microphone wouldn't be able to take the stress that he puts on his by spinning and twirling it around like that.
Haha, funny... I was really hoping for an answer about whether or not he has to use a heavier cable for it or something.
