My New Years Resolution was to lose weight and to get into a bikini by summer. So far it is going well and I would like to add some more cardio to my workouts. I have shin splints and running is often painful and I really enjoy riding my bike. I can also ride 2 miles on my bike faster than I can run 1 mile. So would my workout be just as or more effective if I rode my bike for a few miles instead of running a mile? Thanks for the help
