I need to make a 150-200 ft run of coax cable to send HDTV signal out to a patio in my back yard. The longest length of cable available at Lowe's/HomeDepot is 100 ft (with connections on each end already made up). I could piggy-back a couple of those, or buy a full length of coax cable and a kit for making the connections myself.
The question is - will there be a noticeable difference in signal quality if I use the piggy-back option (which is easier and cheaper) vs. one piece cable?
