Does Pantech phone's have as good of a servive as a nokia?

I have a nokia phone, tried other phones Nokia will pick up at my house, wondering if Pantech put out as good or as strong or better signal than Nokia phone's will. I live in sort of a hole type, and we usually dont get good service with other phone's. Does anyone have a Pantech phone, and does it have good service when in a hole type thing?
