nope they have their own, like blackberry,
a bit strange how some manufacturers didn't expand their basic UI into an OS, like nokia did with symbian. probably because the first 'real' smartphones were windows phones (coming from pocket pc), therefore they chose to jump onto the windows bandwagon (moto mpx200, SPV etc etc), linux crept in there but not well known enough for people to jump on them,
apple make an ipod based smartphone, google make an internet based smartphone. nokia make a cameraphone based smartphone (imo)
