i recently bought an old car in oregon without a title so i had a friend in maine register and insure it and send me the plates and all that. now the car is legal and insured, and i'm taking it on a massive road trip to new mexico. but can i sell it in new mexico even though maine doesn't issue titles for cars made after 1992? does new mexico offer an in lieu of title affidavit like some other states(TN, VA, WA)?
