Does my old bike just need the tires re-inflated?

I haven't rode my bike in like 10 years and the tires are pretty flat. From what I remember they were fine when I used to ride. Does that just mean I need to get a pump and re-inflate and I'll be good to go?

If your tires and tubes are both 10 years old then not only do they need air, they probably should be replaced! Both the tube and the tires depending on where they have been stored. Tires /tubes do NOT hold air for more than a week or two at most and slowly start to loose pressure. This is a fact on everything that holds air- it's NOT permanent!
