I just adopted a co-workers pet. The cat was understandably traumatized the first 48 hours, hissing, pooping and peeing everywhere, but has since become more relaxed, playful, and affectionate the last 2-3 days. The only problem is that he's still peeing on my couch, every time I leave the house. I've used special cleaners, even a cat repellent spray on the couch, but he still goes there, and on the floor next to it. The pee is tinged dark yellow, so I thought maybe he might have a UTI. But he seems fine in every other way, and I have no history with him to tell me if he's peeing more or less. Any suggestions or advice?
