I got a 1990 chevy k1500 with the 4.3 v6. Currently I'm running straight pipe from my cat back. I'm wondering if I can get rid of my cat, it is behind the o2 sensor will it effect anything If I take it out? I'm wanting to take the cat out replace it with pipe and install a turbo muffler and dump right in front or the rear tire.
Does my 1990 chevy need a cat?
