Does Metro PCS work? Can I connect the My Touch from Tmobile to Metro PCS?

I'm thinkinig of changing Tmobile to Metro PCS.... should I do that? I really need to save money so I was thinking on getting 4 lines for $100, but Im not sure if the reception is good or the internet. Also can I use any phone to connect to Metro or does it have to be there phone?
