does mazda 6 have a ford engine?

i heard that mazda use ford engines. i wanna buy a mazda 6. what do you guys think????

The 3.0 engine was a Duratech, Ford design. Which to me is good, seeing as how there is a 220 HP version, about the same thing as the early SHO engine that was a tough runner and hard to kill.
Go for it!
I am not sure of the current model but I think the same holds true only better.
