im not a big fan of american cars yet alone lincoln cuz it has a reputation for making cars for "old people". but i really dig the lincoln ls and i am planning on getting one.its a 2002. its has a youthful look to it. how reliable is it?

It will be reliable if you take care of it.

If you (and the previous owner) follow(ed) the preventative maintenance schedule as listed in the owner's manual, it should be very reliable up to 150,000 mi for sure (and probably longer...most cars built in the last 10+ years are engineered with a lifespan target of at least 150,000mi if the preventative maintenance schedule is followed).

it's a good car. other than regular maintenance, I haven't had to work on any. make sure you get it thoroughly inspected before you buy it.
