Does Japan have something similar to the First Amendment to the US Constitution?

We all know what the 1st Amendment is. It prevents the establishment of a state and it establishes freedom of speech and expression.

If you know enough about it, you'll know there is nothing like that in Britain, Canada, France, Russia, China or the Middle East. Canada has seen its fair sure of bureaucracy when it comes to this.

Is there anything like the 1st Amendment in Japan?
