...would not be found in the Bible? Or are there scriptures in the Bible which clearly state, "Base your beliefs solely on what is written in the 66 books of the Bible and reject that which is pontificated by human authorities outside of the Bible"?
I'm asking an honest question here and am not trying to be pro or con sola scriptura. (But unless Luther was able to point out Biblical proof texts for "sola scriptura" inside the Bible itself, his demand for sola scriptura would have been a self-contradiction, wouldn't it?)
