Question Like this are best answered by the company. I would think that unlimted texting means just that, unlimted regardless of where. But read your contract and/or call support for your carrier
 
well it depends what kind of text plan you have.
If you just have a North America plan than ya it'll still cost you money.
you have to have the long distance texting plan, since most basic plans only have free texting for all of North America not other continents.

So i would suggest calling the customer service line and asking what your plan covers
 
...north America with bell mobility? My friend has recently moved to Australia and I still want to be able yo text him, though I live in Canada. I wanted to see if I would have to pay extra to send a long distance text so I went to the bell website and it said that "long distance text messages are 25 cents per sent message and 15 cents per recieved message. If you subscribe to a text message plan they are free." (by the way, I do have a text plan) so it sounds like I don't have to pay but I want to make sure. So are there any Bell Mobilitg users that send text messages to people that live outside of north America And know that there are no extra dees?
Oops sorry I meant "fees" not dees :p
