Does it cost money to adopt a greyhound from the Lincoln, RI racetrack?

I've looked at the Lincoln Greyhound Adoption Program, and I see that they are a "non-profit" organization, but does that mean that if you get approved for adoption you wouldn't have to pay an adoption fee??? I just can't find much more on the money issue in their page.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
no it means they don't make a profit. It costs them money to feed the dogs, take them to the vet, buy them things, and adopt them. They lose money, so they adopt the dogs out with a fee, to cover the money they have lost raising them.
