Does it bug you to talk about your loved ones that have past away?

I want to ask my mom some questions about grandpa, but i'm afraid to. I don't want talking about him to upset her. He died 11 years ago, when I was 4. I don't remember his personality all that well.

So, if you've ever lost someone important to you...How does it make you feel when someone brings them up? Do you like talking about that person?
