I am currently attending community college. My boyfriend is a college graduate, and wants to move on to bigger and better things. I love him for that, I really wish him the best, but one of his defences in not taking me with him is because I have no real education. We were talking about him moving out to a different state, and he said to me that I'm not doing anything with my life, and that he's dissappointed in me. I understand he's dissappointed, but is that a reasonable arguement to not be with me? I am trying to do things. He said he loved me, we have been together for 3 years, and just a month ago he was telling me he was going to get me an engagment ring. I am going to let him go, I don't want to hold him back from anything at all. This is his goal afterall.
I am trying but I just lost my job and I need work fast before I can start on my program. He knows this.
My question is, should education matter this much in a relationship?
