I'm a freshman in college, but there is a boy (junior) who i really like, but I am confused as to whether or not he feels the same. See, he is always sending mixed signals. For starters, to say the least, I was kind of intimidated when he said he was a junior, but we got to talking and he is just so sweet and makes it feel as though there really is no age difference or that I'm a stupid freshman or something. Plus I noticed him checking me out and he flirts with me in class. He always said "oh lets go do this together" or "we should definitely do that" but we never acted on it. So I finally was bold (which, when it comes to boys, I never am!) and gave him my number, but he never called! and he had all weekend 
but then in class the next time, he acted as though he did nothing wrong and actually gave me his number. He then ended up calling me a half hour after class let out. we met to study together the next day, and ever since we've been flirting via text, but we haven't gone out on a date or anything, and I dont want to ask him to do something, because, for the most part, I am always the one to instigate the text conversations and I did give him my number first, it just took him forever to act upon it. What do I do? I want to be pursued. But I dont want to sit back and wait, because I really like him! Help please!
