Does having phimosis make it uncomfortable to have sex?

Okay, so I know a lot about circumcised and uncircumcised sex, because I've done some studying on it. But I've noticed that in each description, they have a guy who has a regular uncircumcised penis that has the foreskin go back all the way with an erection. I've tried to pull mine back when I have an erection (I'm uncirc'd, BTW), and it goes about halfway, but it doesn't budge after that.

On top of that, I'm going to be dating a girl here soon and we're both pretty uh... passionate about each other. Basically, sex is kinda likely. I don't want to stop because it hurts or whatever. That would totally suck, cuz it would be my first time.

So... should I be okay even with phimosis? I want to cure it, but I know I can't before the girl and I start dating, which is gonna be most likely by next month.

By the way, I'm not getting circumcised cuz I know it's really dumb to get it done and the girl is on birth control. So no worries about pregnancy. Oh yeah, and I'm 16.

It certainly CAN be a painful experience, but not necessarily. It definitely depends on how severe the phimosis is. If sex does end up happening, just make sure you use a lot of lubricant to help get things going so there is no pain because of that. If the pain still happen, you may be out of luck and it might be worth talking to the doctor about options.
