Does going to a Gamestop actually fix scratched video games?

My black ops disk is messed so if i got to gamestop or somewhere will it actually work?
its just some of the campaign wont load so i dont think its that bad....i can still play multiplayer,zombies and some campaign missions.
Also what is the average price to fix a game?
