Does going to a club with a friend keep guys from approaching you?

Okay, last week I went with a friend as well. But I had guys coming on to me and stuff. Tonight, I only had two guys came on to me.

My friend is kinda provacative; I mean he likes to rub himself on me and shit. Does that make other guys think he's my bf/lover or something?

Should I just go by myself if I want all the attention?
