Why did God tell Moses to put decapitated heads in the sun, Does that not disgust you so?
Do you not feel at all that God, in all his supossed perfection could have handled the situation far better? If he is perfect, his actions should be perfect. And you cannot dismiss this as Jewish. It's the same God that you worship.
God presents himself as wrathful, vengeful, in Exodus it says God's name is Jealous.
"For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God".
Including the mass infancide, genocide, slaughter.
And I find it ironic that the Seven Deadly Sins are: Vanity, Gluttony, greed, wrath, Envy.
God (Jealous) is extremely envious, I mean, Thats his name. (which is almost synonymous with jealousy). And expecially wrathful.
Hebrews 12:29 "For it is perfectly true that our God is a burning fire"
Nahum 1:2 (Amp) The Lord is a jealous God and avenging, the Lord avenges and He is full of wrath; the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries and reserves wrath for his enemies.
Isa 66:15-16 (NIV) "See, the Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the Lord...
I mean, but if people acted like that everyone would be like Hitler, Infact worse than Hitler.
