I am looking into buying a new Honda Fit, and I like the Sport one because it comes with more standard features, but my roommate said that my insurance will be raised more because they think of anything with "sport" in it, as a sports car. Does anyone know if this will significantly raise my insurance more than the regular package? Also, she told me that a brightly colored car like red is considered safer so there is an insurance discount for it. Is this true too? Thanks for any help!
