Does general bikers dislike Ducatist?

My experience out here in the LA area is with the guys on the what I call the adventure bikes(Paris/Dakar type bikes) with the suit case type bike luggage that are definately the haters. No wave no look and no talk when you see them at local hangouts.I think they have the illusion of being the Lone Wolf type. Everybody else is alright some wave some don't,that includes Ducati types also.
 
Many of us can afford to ride a Duc, brah. Some of us have just chosen to roll on something else for the time being. But we're glad that you're Successful...808.

And for the OP, most people aren't jealous of your success. Sometimes, people just have other shit on their minds other than to wave back. Like traffic and not becoming the meat in a Chevy Suburban/H2 sandwich.
 
Maybe a different Nod Culture here, but my other bike is a bit "Paris-Dakar type" (no "suitcase luggage" though) and I always nod, regardless of which bike I am on, or they are on.
I guess it's normal for nods/waves to be more frequent or enthusiastic between riders of similar bikes.
Perhaps that's why I've noticed a little less discrimination or snobbery than used to exist from BMW riders - now they don't all have the distinct front profile of boxer cylinders it's harder for them to spot each other from a distance!
