UM--I have no clue---unless the president of FORD tells us--how would any of us know?? If you want a possible "good answer"--ASK AT A FORD DEALERSHIP in your area. They are test marketing that tiny version---so maybe if it sells well, they will bring its big brother. OR--maybe BIG brother cannot pass AMERICAN standards. The Sprinter is ALL Mercedes---given one or two AMERICAN names to get them accepted into this country----the test on MERCEDES SPRINTER showed the name caused people NOT to buy it when first introduced here. The public wanted a familiar--substantial name. Like Chevy and GMC--same truck--just a different set of plastic name tags. Its all in public percetion and loyalty to a certain brand name. VERY CLEVER MARKETING!!
