Does David Cameron sound like a ranting pratt when he keeps going on about the

BNP being vicious thugs and? that he's going to everything possible to stop them going any further.............when they have been voted for by British voters.
What's this plonker going to do, turn up at their meetings, pummel their chests, calling them beastly thugs, and burst into tears? Conduct his own coup d'etat against them? Is this ranter implying he will ignore the wishes of the electorate and in some way harrass that legal party's elected members?
Anyone should end up in a strait jacket or a jail cell for that.

The BNP have not been 'voted by the British voters' look at the pathetic figures, they have made no significant gains against the loss of the Labour vote.
They did not actually secure a major electoral gain in this election.
There was no significant rise in the BNP vote, they didn’t do that well if you look at the voting figures, they only picked up a small proportion of the lost Labour vote, where they got their two MEP seats, the North West and Yorkshire and Humberside, they only polled 8% and 9.8% of the vote with rises of 1.6% and 1.8%.
The Labour falls were -6.9% and -7.5% so the BNP were only picking up a small proportion of these votes. In both regions the Greens were very closely behind the BNP and the minority parties were at about 16% altogether, if more people opposing the BNP had voted tactically for the Greens instead of splitting the vote between the many minority parties the Greens would easily have won these two seats instead.
I think the BNP are in a more precarious position electorally than they like to admit.

We are SUPPOSED to live in a free society.

If the BNP recieved the votes they are ELECTED in.
What Cameron SHOULD do is take the idea that the rise in votes
is due to people having enougth with the influx of asylum seekers etc. Therefore enter a tough stance from within his own party on
our Border policy and benefit system that seems to benefit everyone but those whom have paid in for years...

Strangely this feeling always rears up highest in bad economic times... But it is a feeling of most of the electorate being annoyed with how WE are treated...

But ALL politicians are big jumped up kids anyway!

Cameron is being a posh-oh Tory sneering down at the dirty oiks who voted for the BNP. The Tories will never pick up these votes so it's mainly an issue for the Labour party.

as i stated in another post, i'm an outsider but watched ya'lls elections...i'm not sure who this cameron guy is but i suspect he's just like any other lefty when they don't get their way...scream all the labels out so people clam up or run and hide. you know what labels i mean. i suspect he may be one of the reasons you voted the way you did which should be a reminder for the government here in the states that the road to socialism and immigration policy is being rejected all over europe. every one of the elections except one voted their respective countries back toward the center or right of center. the one that didn't lost seats on the left so i think anybody saying that this is just a one time thing or fluke had better take a look at the continent, and the will of the people.

Yes and one of the reasons the BNP are growing stronger!!

People are opening their eyes.

The BNP evoke emotive responses from people, because countries that have had similar policies (Nazi Germany, South Africa during Apartheid) have been the source of huge amounts of loss.

Yeah he does.
I don't think he realizes that almost a million people voted for them so they must be doing something right.

Its like all the MEP's in Manchester last night who walked off the stage when Nick Griffin was making his victory speech. I mean come on how childish can you get. Its something I'd expect from a group of 11 year old's in Primary school.

Yes, he's a real idiot. NO better than Brown.

at the end of the day nearly 1,000,000 people voted BNP, so...

Yes he does and calling for a general election all the time is embarrassing, if somebody sneezes he say would should have a general election, the bloke is getting desperate because he can see that he my well miss the chance if Gordon survives for another 18 months.
