Does computer bluetooth recognize sonic ericsson bluetooth headphone ?

I just bought a sony ericsson bluetooth headphone and want to use it for my desktop which does not have bluetooth. Do i have to buy a suitable bluetooth adapter to use the headphone or random one ? Does soni ericsson have bluetooth for desktop ?
