Does clothing made of organic cotton shrink?

I know cotton shrinks when you wash/dry it. But is there the same effect on organic cotton? If i put my 100% organic cotton shirt in the dryer, will it shrink?

It will most likely. My dad put my cotton leotard for ballet in the dryer and it shrunk. Hope this helps!
