I am a 21 year old college student in Texas. When I filled my Financial Aid I put down that I have no dependents. This year, my 5 year old nephew moved in with me, and I bought him everything that was essential for him, or that he needed. Now I want to claim him for my income tax this coming January. Does anyone know if it will affect me in any way?? Will I still receive financial aid for the next school year 2011-2012. I only worked from March to this coming December 31. $150 semimonthly, and almost everything went to my nephew. All help will be appreciated.
