Does Civilization III work with Vista?

I bought it a couple years back and it worked on my old PC. I just found it, couldn't wait to play. But on my laptop which has Vista, it's not working. What can I do to fix it?
 
hmm yea well actaully a simialr happend to me but it was for the game age of empires ehihc is similar to civilazation i played age of empires on my pc and then when i installed it , it wouldnt get installed porperly then if finally did but the game wouldnt open and when it did open it would get stuck (there wans any scarthes on the cd or anything) when i put the game back in my old pc it worked perfectly fine so i think it maybe due to visita but cant be positive
